Poetry with light

"Poetry with light" is the subtitle or tagline associated with Forever Images. In my eyes this perfectly reflects what I have in mind with my Black and White photography. Artistic B&W photography by creating uniquely beautiful and elegant photos. The fact that it’s clearly recognizable as my work, makes that I consider it to be art. Something completely different than a merely visual registration of something observable.

How nice of you to have taken the time to view my B&W Photos. Black and white photos can bring out a certain essence in a unique way. It draws you more to certain lines and dynamics in the photo. They often have a timeless character. More often than with color photos, you’ll never get bored by them and they can have the effect of being seen for the first time each time you lay your eyes on them. The photo raises more and different questions. Questions such as "what is she thinking about?" or "what's happening?". There's a lot to say about it and wrote this page to tell you a bit more about my Black and White Photography.

My photo studio

I like to shoot on location (indoors or outdoors) and in my photo studio. It's located in The Hague. Easily reached by car (about 4 minutes from the A12 and A4) and parking right in front of the building. The Hague Central Station is about a 6 minute walk.
