"Poetry with light" is the subtitle or tagline associated with Forever Images. In my opinion it beautifully describes how I look at my work as a fashion photographer. Artistic fashion photography by creating uniquely beautiful and elegant photos. The uniqueness of my work makes it’s clearly recognizable. For me this is the most essential aspect that makes that I see my work as pieces of art. An artistic interpretation of a visual experience.

Most importantly, I don’t work alone as a fashion photographer. I always work in a team with fashion designers, models, make-up artists and stylists. Communication and the willingness to understand each other are, in my perspective, key to achieve an excellent result. This applies during the shoot, but also during preparation and post-processing of the photos. I think excellent collaboration during these phases is key to success. There is a lot more to it, here I describe how I do fashion photography in more detail. Do you want more inspiration, please find an overview of my fashion photos here. Color photos are in general the preferred way to go. They can be beautifully lively or a great visualization of an atmosphere. But colors can also distract from other details or 'part of the story'. Black and white photos can be a remarkable alternative in some cases. B&W photography is my passion and specialty as a professional fashion photographer. To explain this a bit further, I wrote this page to tell you more about my Black and White Photography. To support this explaination, I created this portfolio page of my B&W photos.
I like to shoot on location (indoors or outdoors) and in my photo studio. It's located in The Hague. Easily reached by car (about 4 minutes from the A12 and A4) and parking right in front of the building. The Hague Central Station is about a 6 minute walk. This studio photo is a great example of what we can create together. It gives an impression of what is possible with light and shadow. Here you can find some of my studio photos. This is already nicely reflected in this color photo, but the power of light and shadow can be expressed even beter in a black and white photo.
