"Poetry with light" is the subtitle or tagline associated with Forever Images. In my opinion it beautifully describes how I look at my work as a fashion photographer. Delicate fashion photography artistically leading to impressive and exquisite photos. The fact that it’s clearly recognizable as my work, makes that I consider it to be art. Something completely different than a merely visual registration of something observable.

I love to work with fashion designers, models, make-up artists and stylists to create the most stunning and gorgeous fashion photos. Fashion photography is always a joined effort between artists from different fields of expertise. Communication is crucial, during the shoot, but also during preparation and post-processing of the photos. This page describes my fashion photography in more detail. If you are curious, I created an collection of my fashion photos over here. Here you can find more information about Fashion photography in Amsterdam. The way I do fashion photography is, of course, personal even when it’s done on a professional level. The meaning of the word "glamour" is perhaps a little less chic from you at first. Glamor means something in the sense of 'pretense', 'fake mesmerizing beauty', 'enchanting charm', 'enchanting appearance', 'glitter', 'splendor', 'artificial brilliance' or 'excessive adornment'. It doesn't come across as real, honest, or authentic at first. But I think a 'touch' of glamor in a photo can add something that doesn't have to take away from the authenticity on which the photo is based. When applied nicely, it can give a portrait photo that little bit extra, for example, which makes it even more special. But above all, glamor naturally goes hand in hand with fashion. They reinforce each other. Fashion quickly increases the glamor level and an extra touch of glamor can underline a fashion statement in a great way. In my opinion, the art with glamor is to nuance it enough to not let it distract from the message you want to convey with the photo. But if the message is glamour, to also know how to get the most out of it. I'm curious if you recognize what I'm writing here when you look at these glamour photos.

Most fashion photos we see are in color. Color usually attracts more attention and can literally highlight specific details. But for some photos I strongly prefer black and white. B&W photography is my passion and specialty as a professional fashion photographer. I love to tell you more about it and wrote this page about my Black and White Photography. And I also like to share a part of my portfolio of B&W photos with you.
I like to shoot on location (indoors or outdoors) and in my photo studio. It's located in The Hague. Easily reached by car (about 4 minutes from the A12 and A4) and parking right in front of the building. The Hague Central Station is about a 6 minute walk. Here are some of my studio photos. They give you a good impression of the possibilities.
