"Poetry with light" is the subtitle or tagline associated with Forever Images. In my opinion it beautifully describes how I look at my work as a fashion photographer. Delicate fashion photography artistically leading to impressive and exquisite photos. The uniqueness of my work makes it’s clearly recognizable. For me this is the most essential aspect that makes that I see my work as pieces of art. An artistic interpretation of a visual experience.

Most importantly, I don’t work alone as a fashion photographer. I always work in a team with fashion designers, models, make-up artists and stylists. Communication and the willingness to understand each other are, in my perspective, key to achieve an excellent result. This applies during the shoot, but also during preparation and post-processing of the photos. I think excellent collaboration during these phases is key to success. There is a lot more to it, here I describe how I do fashion photography in more detail. Do you want more inspiration, please find an overview of my fashion photos here. The meaning of the word "glamour" is perhaps a little less chic from you at first. Glamor means something in the sense of 'pretense', 'fake mesmerizing beauty', 'enchanting charm', 'enchanting appearance', 'glitter', 'splendor', 'artificial brilliance' or 'excessive adornment'. It doesn't come across as real, honest, or authentic at first. But I think a 'touch' of glamor in a photo can add something that doesn't have to take away from the authenticity on which the photo is based. When applied nicely, it can give a portrait photo that little bit extra, for example, which makes it even more special. But above all, glamor naturally goes hand in hand with fashion. They reinforce each other. Fashion quickly increases the glamor level and an extra touch of glamor can underline a fashion statement in a great way. In my opinion, the art with glamor is to nuance it enough to not let it distract from the message you want to convey with the photo. But if the message is glamour, to also know how to get the most out of it. I'm curious if you recognize what I'm writing here when you look at these glamour photos.

Color photos are the most common photos. The colors are what people may expect or are used to attract attention. It's also the closest to the 'real thing'. But in some cases I love to turn a fashion photo into a black and white one. B&W photography is my passion and specialty as a professional fashion photographer. There's a lot to say about it and wrote this page to tell you a bit more about my Black and White Photography. To show you what I mean, I created this overview of my B&W photos.
I like to shoot on location (indoors or outdoors) and in my photo studio. It's located in The Hague. Easily reached by car (about 4 minutes from the A12 and A4) and parking right in front of the building. The Hague Central Station is about a 6 minute walk. Here are some of my studio photos. They give you a good impression of the possibilities.
