"Poetry with light" is the subtitle or tagline associated with Forever Images. For me, it honestly explains what Forever Images' fashion photography stand for. Delicate fashion photography artistically leading to impressive and exquisite photos. Because my work is unique and obviously identifiable, I love to see it as art. My photos are more than purely the result of capturing and digitally storing of what we can see.

For starters, fashion photography is always teamwork. Artists from different areas of expertise joining together. Fashion designers, models, make-up artists and stylists. It's important to really understand each other and to have a great atmosphere. It’s hard work but should, I my opinion, be great fun as well. During the shoot, but also during preparation and post-processing of the photos. I prefer to do the post-processing (in part) together with the fashion designer, model, make-up artist or stylist. You can find more information on my fashion photography on this page. Examples of my fashion photos are shown on this page. Here you can find out more about Fashion photography in Amsterdam. The way I do fashion photography is, of course, personal even when it’s done on a professional level. If you want to find out more about me and why I love photography and what the basis is from which I work, you can find my story here.
Everyone has heard or used the word "glamor" at some point. And everyone has a feel for the meaning of the word. When I looked up the meaning of "glamour", that meaning came across as less stylish to me than I expected. Glamor has been described as 'pretense', 'fake mesmerizing beauty', 'enchanting charm', 'enchanting appearance', 'glitter', 'splendor', 'artificial brilliance' or 'excessive adornment'. It doesn't come across as real, honest, or authentic at first. But a 'touch' of glamor in a photo can, in my view, add something that does not have to crowd out the real thing. When applied subtly, it can give a portrait photo that little bit extra, making it even more unique. But above all, glamor goes great with fashion. They help each other to emerge more powerfully from a photo. Fashion naturally enhances the glamor content and an extra touch of glamor can beautifully bring out the fashion aspect. In my experience, the art with glamor is nuanced enough not to let it dominate, as long as you manage to get the most out of it if the message is glamour. Take a look at some of my glamour photos, do you recognize what I'm describing here?

B&W photography is my specialty and passion as a professional fashion photographer. Black and white emphasizes the essence of the photo. It draws you more to certain lines and dynamics in the photo. The photo raises more and different questions. Questions such as "what is she thinking about?" or "what's happening?". I love to tell you more about this and wrote this page about my Black and White Photography. And I also like to share a part of my portfolio of B&W photos with you.
I like to shoot on location (indoors or outdoors) and in my photo studio. It's located in The Hague. Easily reached by car (about 4 minutes from the A12 and A4) and parking right in front of the building. The Hague Central Station is about a 6 minute walk. Here are some of my studio photos. They give you a good impression of the possibilities.
