"Poetry with light" is the subtitle or tagline associated with Forever Images. For me, it honestly explains what Forever Images' fashion photography stand for. Fascinating fashion photography that results in artistically delightful and gorgeous photos. Because my work is unique and obviously identifiable, I love to see it as art. My photos are more than purely the result of capturing and digitally storing of what we can see.

I love to work with fashion designers, models, make-up artists and stylists to create the most stunning and gorgeous fashion photos. Fashion photography is always a joined effort between artists from different fields of expertise. Communication is crucial, during the shoot, but also during preparation and post-processing of the photos. This page describes my fashion photography in more detail. If you are curious, I created an collection of my fashion photos over here. Here you can find more information about Fashion photography in Amsterdam. The meaning of the word "glamour" is perhaps a little less chic from you at first. Glamor means something in the sense of 'pretense', 'fake mesmerizing beauty', 'enchanting charm', 'enchanting appearance', 'glitter', 'splendor', 'artificial brilliance' or 'excessive adornment'. It doesn't come across as real, honest, or authentic at first. But I think a 'touch' of glamor in a photo can add something that doesn't have to take away from the authenticity on which the photo is based. When applied nicely, it can give a portrait photo that little bit extra, for example, which makes it even more special. But above all, glamor naturally goes hand in hand with fashion. They reinforce each other. Fashion quickly increases the glamor level and an extra touch of glamor can underline a fashion statement in a great way. In my opinion, the art with glamor is to nuance it enough to not let it distract from the message you want to convey with the photo. But if the message is glamour, to also know how to get the most out of it. I'm curious if you recognize what I'm writing here when you look at these glamour photos.

B&W photography is my specialty and passion as a professional fashion photographer. Black and white photos can bring out a certain essence in a unique way. They often have a timeless character. More often than with color photos, you’ll never get bored by them and they can have the effect of being seen for the first time each time you lay your eyes on them. There's a lot to say about it and wrote this page to tell you a bit more about my Black and White Photography. To show you what I mean, I created this overview of my B&W photos.
This fashion photo has something (extra) special about it. It's a low key photo, also called a film noir photo. It's relatively dark (low key) and emphasizes the tension between light and dark. Here you can find more information on low key photography. I love the atmosphere and the way it brings out the light. Sometimes subtle, sometimes strong. Because there are fewer aspects of the photo lit out, it focuses more strongly on those aspects which are. Most of my low key photos are black and white. That can emphasize even more on the tension between light and dark and become even more minimalistic. Check out a couple of my low key photos. When the few aspects of the photo that are lit are very light, we speak of a high contrast photo. The high contrast makes that the few aspects the photo focuses on come out in a very bright and strong way.
I like to shoot on location (indoors or outdoors) and in my photo studio. It's located in The Hague. Easily reached by car (about 4 minutes from the A12 and A4) and parking right in front of the building. The Hague Central Station is about a 6 minute walk. This studio photo is a great example of what we can create together. It gives an impression of what is possible with light and shadow. Here you can find some of my studio photos. This is already nicely reflected in this color photo, but the power of light and shadow can be expressed even beter in a black and white photo.
