"Poetry with light" is the subtitle or tagline associated with Forever Images. In my opinion it beautifully describes how I look at my work as a wedding photographer. Delicate wedding photography artistically leading to impressive and exquisite photos. Because my work is unique and obviously identifiable, I love to see it as art. My photos are more than purely the result of capturing and digitally storing of what we can see.

B&W photography is my specialty and passion as a professional wedding photographer. Black and white photos can bring out a certain essence in a unique way. They often have a timeless character. More often than with color photos, you’ll never get bored by them and they can have the effect of being seen for the first time each time you lay your eyes on them. There's a lot to say about it and wrote this page to tell you a bit more about my Black and White Photography. To show you what I mean, I created this overview of my B&W photos.
This wedding photo has something (extra) special about it. It's a low key photo. It's relatively dark (low key) and emphasizes the tension between light and dark. I love the atmosphere and the way it brings out the light. Sometimes subtle, sometimes strong. Because there are fewer aspects of the photo lit out, it focuses more strongly on those aspects which are. Most of my low key photos are black and white. That can emphasize even more on the tension between light and dark and become even more minimalistic. Check out a couple of my low key photos. When the few aspects of the photo that are lit are very light, we speak of a high contrast photo. The high contrast makes that the few aspects the photo focuses on come out in a very bright and strong way.
Locations of a shoot can vary. I do shoots indoors and outdoors. There is also the possibility to do the shoot in my photo studio. It's located in The Hague. Comfortably reachable by car (about 4 minutes from the A4 and A12) and parking right in front of the building. The train station The Hague CS is about a 6 minute walk. Here are some of my studio photos. They give you a good impression of the possibilities.
