"Poetry with light" is the subtitle or tagline associated with Forever Images. In my opinion it beautifully describes how I look at my work as a portrait photographer. Delicate portrait photography artistically leading to impressive and exquisite photos. The fact that it’s clearly recognizable as my work, makes that I consider it to be art. Something completely different than a merely visual registration of something observable.

Photographing children, like this portrait photo, is beautiful. The prerequisite is that they have a good time during the shoot. On the one hand, I leave them free and give them a lot of space. On the other hand, I'm on top of it. Children are unpredictable and sometimes difficult to steer. The shoot will always have a more spontaneous and surprising character. A perfect reflection of how children themselves are. When a child feels comfortable, is having fun and exploring a bit on their own, they always turn out great on photos! Locations of a shoot can vary. I do shoots indoors and outdoors. There is also the possibility to do the shoot in my photo studio. It's located in The Hague. Comfortably reachable by car (about 4 minutes from the A4 and A12) and parking right in front of the building. The train station The Hague CS is about a 6 minute walk. This studio photo is a great example of what we can create together. It gives an impression of what is possible with light and shadow. Here you can find some of my studio photos. This is already nicely reflected in this color photo, but the power of light and shadow can be expressed even beter in a black and white photo.
