"Poetry with light" is the subtitle or tagline associated with Forever Images. In my opinion it beautifully describes how I look at my work as a portrait photographer. Delicate portrait photography artistically leading to impressive and exquisite photos. The uniqueness of my work makes it’s clearly recognizable. For me this is the most essential aspect that makes that I see my work as pieces of art. An artistic interpretation of a visual experience.

To create the portrait photos we are looking for, it is necessary that I understand what you want and that I can explain how we can achieve that. We always start a shoot with an introduction. Photographing children, like this portrait photo, is beautiful. The prerequisite is that they have a good time during the shoot. On the one hand, I leave them free and give them a lot of space. On the other hand, I'm on top of it. Children are unpredictable and sometimes difficult to steer. The shoot will always have a more spontaneous and surprising character. A perfect reflection of how children themselves are. When a child feels comfortable, is having fun and exploring a bit on their own, they always turn out great on photos! We can do a shoot on anywhere reasonable location. Indoors or outdoors. And of course in my photo studio. My studio is located in The Hague. Easily reachable by car (about 4 minutes from the A12 and A4) and parking right in front of the building. The Hague Central Station is a mere 6 minute walk. This studio photo is a great example of what we can create together. It gives an impression of what is possible with light and shadow. Here you can find some of my studio photos. This is already nicely reflected in this color photo, but the power of light and shadow can be expressed even beter in a black and white photo.
