"Poetry with light" is the subtitle or tagline associated with Forever Images. For me, it honestly explains what Forever Images' portrait photography stand for. Fascinating portrait photography that results in artistically delightful and gorgeous photos. Because my work is unique and obviously identifiable, I love to see it as art. My photos are more than purely the result of capturing and digitally storing of what we can see.

Photographing children, like this portrait photo, is beautiful. The prerequisite is that they have a good time during the shoot. On the one hand, I leave them free and give them a lot of space. On the other hand, I'm on top of it. Children are unpredictable and sometimes difficult to steer. The shoot will always have a more spontaneous and surprising character. A perfect reflection of how children themselves are. When a child feels comfortable, is having fun and exploring a bit on their own, they always turn out great on photos! Selective color, also called color pop, is an effect that highlights a selection of color(s) or (a) colored object(s) in an otherwise black and white image or strongly desaturated photo. This makes the selected color or object really pop out. This effect can be used for artistic reasons or to tune down a otherwise overwhelming photo. Is strongly leads the focus of the viewer to the chosen selection and creates a strong dynamic in the photo. Here you will find more of my selective color photos.
Locations of a shoot can vary. I do shoots indoors and outdoors. There is also the possibility to do the shoot in my photo studio. It's located in The Hague. Comfortably reachable by car (about 4 minutes from the A4 and A12) and parking right in front of the building. The train station The Hague CS is about a 6 minute walk. This studio photo is a great example of what we can create together. It gives an impression of what is possible with light and shadow. Here you can find some of my studio photos. This is already nicely reflected in this color photo, but the power of light and shadow can be expressed even beter in a black and white photo.
