"Poetry with light" is the subtitle or tagline associated with Forever Images. In my eyes this perfectly reflects what I have in mind with my portrait photography. Artistic portrait photography by creating uniquely beautiful and elegant photos. The fact that it’s clearly recognizable as my work, makes that I consider it to be art. Something completely different than a merely visual registration of something observable.

To create the portrait photos we are looking for, it is necessary that I understand what you want and that I can explain how we can achieve that. We always start a shoot with an introduction. B&W photography is my specialty and passion as a professional portrait photographer. Black and white photos offer better possibilities to reveal an underlying layer of a story or feeling. A B&W photo helps the viewer to focus it's attention on, for example, the emotion or expression of the person in the photo. It can make the person in the photo for instance appear more powerful or more vulnerable. To explain this a bit further, I wrote this page to tell you more about my Black and White Photography. To support this explanation, I created this portfolio page of my B&W photos.
I like to shoot on location (indoors or outdoors) and in my photo studio. It's located in The Hague. Easily reached by car (about 4 minutes from the A12 and A4) and parking right in front of the building. The Hague Central Station is about a 6 minute walk. This studio photo is a great example of what we can create together. It gives an impression of what is possible with light and shadow. Here you can find some of my studio photos. This is already nicely reflected in this color photo, but the power of light and shadow can be expressed even beter in a black and white photo.
