Poetry with light

"Poetry with light" is the subtitle or tagline associated with Forever Images. In my opinion it beautifully describes how I look at my work as a fashion photographer. Artistic fashion photography by creating uniquely beautiful and elegant photos. The uniqueness of my work makes it’s clearly recognizable. For me this is the most essential aspect that makes that I see my work as pieces of art. An artistic interpretation of a visual experience.

How I do fashion photography

For starters, fashion photography is always teamwork. Artists from different areas of expertise joining together. Fashion designers, models, make-up artists and stylists. It's important to really understand each other and to have a great atmosphere. It’s hard work but should, I my opinion, be great fun as well. During the shoot, but also during preparation and post-processing of the photos. I prefer to do the post-processing (in part) together with the fashion designer, model, make-up artist or stylist. You can find more information on my fashion photography on this page. Examples of my fashion photos are shown on this page. Here you can find out more about Fashion photography in Amsterdam. The way I do fashion photography is, of course, personal even when it’s done on a professional level. If you want to find out more about me and why I love photography and what the basis is from which I work, you can find my story here.

This is a beautiful photo in color ...

I really love this fashion photo, Bryan Louter Francis Keesman Emma Heirbaut fashion photo color 868, in color. It has been given this description: Portrait photo fashion with mannequin closed eyes | Bryan Louter Francis Keesman Emma Heirbaut | Fashion Photographer Michiel Borgart - Forever Images. And contains these tags: fashion photo portrait color photo studio Bryan Louter Francis Keesman Emma Heirbaut 2020-01-27 FIS20012701 fashion photographer Michiel Borgart Forever Images The Hague. Color photos are in general the preferred way to go. They can be beautifully lively or a great visualization of an atmosphere. But colors can also distract from other details or 'part of the story'. Black and white photos can be a remarkable alternative in some cases. B&W photography is my passion and specialty as a professional fashion photographer. To explain this a bit further, I wrote this page to tell you more about my Black and White Photography. To support this explaination, I created this portfolio page of my B&W photos.

Photo studio Forever Images in The Hague

We can do a shoot on anywhere reasonable location. Indoors or outdoors. And of course in my photo studio. My studio is located in The Hague. Easily reachable by car (about 4 minutes from the A12 and A4) and parking right in front of the building. The Hague Central Station is a mere 6 minute walk. This studio photo is a great example of what we can create together. It gives an impression of what is possible with light and shadow. Here you can find some of my studio photos. This is already nicely reflected in this color photo, but the power of light and shadow can be expressed even beter in a black and white photo.
