"Poetry with light" is the subtitle or tagline associated with Forever Images. In my opinion it beautifully describes how I look at my work as a fashion photographer. Delicate fashion photography artistically leading to impressive and exquisite photos. Because my work is unique and obviously identifiable, I love to see it as art. My photos are more than purely the result of capturing and digitally storing of what we can see.

I love to work with fashion designers, models, make-up artists and stylists to create the most stunning and gorgeous fashion photos. Fashion photography is always a joined effort between artists from different fields of expertise. When you hear the word "glamour" what comes to your mind? I looked it up and the meaning for me was different than I expected. I wasn't totally surprised but it was different. It means something in the sense of 'pretense', 'fake mesmerizing beauty', 'enchanting charm', 'enchanting appearance', 'glitter', 'splendor', 'artificial brilliance' or 'excessive adornment'. It may initially come across as misleading or made up. But I don't think a touch of glamor has to diminish the sheer intention on which the photo is based. When applied appropriately, it can, for example, give a portrait photo that little bit of extras that makes it even more special. But glamor really comes to live in combination with fashion photography. They intensify each other in a great way. Fashion beautifully brings out the glamor level and the glamor helps to get the best out of a fashion shoot. The secret of glamor in my opinion is to apply it in a balanced way and to keep it in line with what you have in mind with the shoot. And if the shoot is all about the glamour, go all out! Locations of a shoot can vary. I do shoots indoors and outdoors. There is also the possibility to do the shoot in my photo studio. It's located in The Hague. Comfortably reachable by car (about 4 minutes from the A4 and A12) and parking right in front of the building. The train station The Hague CS is about a 6 minute walk. This studio photo is a great example of what we can create together. It gives an impression of what is possible with light and shadow. Here you can find some of my studio photos. This is already nicely reflected in this color photo, but the power of light and shadow can be expressed even beter in a black and white photo.
