Poetry with light

"Poetry with light" is the subtitle or tagline associated with Forever Images. In my opinion it beautifully describes how I look at my work as a wedding photographer. Delicate wedding photography artistically leading to impressive and exquisite photos. The uniqueness of my work makes it’s clearly recognizable. For me this is the most essential aspect that makes that I see my work as pieces of art. An artistic interpretation of a visual experience.

How I do wedding photography

I love to capture a story, feeling, emotion or experience with beautiful wedding photos. For me it's all about capturing one of the most beautiful days of your life, together with you. To catch the memories in a form that enables you to relive these special moments for the rest of your life. A great print to hang on your the wall, a beautiful wedding album or whatever you may like. This is a beautiful photo in color ...

I really love this wedding photo, wedding photo color 753, in color. It has been given this description: Wedding photo detail bridal bouquet between branches | Wedding Photographer Michiel Borgart - Forever Images. And contains these tags: wedding photo color selective color outside 2018-04-20 FIS18042001 wedding photographer Michiel Borgart Forever Images The Hague. Color photos are in general the preferred way to go. They can be beautifully lively or a great visualization of an atmosphere. But colors can also distract from other details or 'part of the story'. Black and white photos can be a remarkable alternative in some cases. B&W photography is my passion and specialty as a professional wedding photographer. To explain this a bit further, I wrote this page to tell you more about my Black and White Photography. To support this explaination, I created this portfolio page of my B&W photos.

Selective Color wedding photo

Selective color, also called color pop, is an effect that highlights a selection of color(s) or (a) colored object(s) in an otherwise black and white image or strongly desaturated photo. This makes the selected color or object really pop out. This effect can be used for artistic reasons or to tune down a otherwise overwhelming photo. Is strongly leads the focus of the viewer to the chosen selection and creates a strong dynamic in the photo. Here you will find more of my selective color photos.

Photo studio Forever Images in The Hague

I like to shoot on location (indoors or outdoors) and in my photo studio. It's located in The Hague. Easily reached by car (about 4 minutes from the A12 and A4) and parking right in front of the building. The Hague Central Station is about a 6 minute walk. Here are some of my studio photos. They give you a good impression of the possibilities.
