Poetry with light

"Poetry with light" is the subtitle or tagline associated with Forever Images. In my opinion it beautifully describes how I look at my work as a portrait photographer. Artistic portrait photography by creating uniquely beautiful and elegant photos. The uniqueness of my work makes it’s clearly recognizable. For me this is the most essential aspect that makes that I see my work as pieces of art. An artistic interpretation of a visual experience.

How I do portrait photography

To create the end result we are looking for, I need to understand how you envision that result. The second thing is that I can clarify how we can are going to get there. To do this in an enjoyable way, it's always best to get to know each other first. Of course there is more to be said about this. You can read more about my portrait photography over here. This page show some examples of my portrait photos. The way I do portrait photography is, of course, personal even when it’s done on a professional level. If you want to find out more about me and why I love photography and what the basis is from which I work, you can find my story here.

Gorgeous Glamour Photo

When you hear the word "glamour" what comes to your mind? I looked it up and the meaning for me was different than I expected. I wasn't totally surprised but it was different. It means something in the sense of 'pretense', 'fake mesmerizing beauty', 'enchanting charm', 'enchanting appearance', 'glitter', 'splendor', 'artificial brilliance' or 'excessive adornment'. It may initially come across as misleading or made up. But I don't think a touch of glamor has to diminish the sheer intention on which the photo is based. When applied appropriately, it can, for example, give a portrait photo that little bit of extras that makes it even more special. But glamor really comes to live in combination with fashion photography. They intensify each other in a great way. Fashion beautifully brings out the glamor level and the glamor helps to get the best out of a fashion shoot. The secret of glamor in my opinion is to apply it in a balanced way and to keep it in line with what you have in mind with the shoot. And if the shoot is all about the glamour, go all out! Here you will find some of my most beautiful glamour photos.

This is a beautiful photo in color ...

I really love this portrait photo, Nicolette portrait photo color 65, in color. It has been given this description: Portrait photo beautiful young blond lady on gray background | Nicolette | Portrait Photographer Michiel Borgart - Forever Images. And contains these tags: portrait photo glamour color photo studio Nicolette 2016-08-07 FIS16080701 portrait photographer Michiel Borgart Forever Images The Hague. Most portrait photos we see are in color. Color usually attracts more attention and can literally highlight specific details. But for some photos I strongly prefer black and white. B&W photography is my passion and specialty as a professional portrait photographer. I love to tell you more about it and wrote this page about my Black and White Photography. And I also like to share a part of my portfolio of B&W photos with you.

Photo studio Forever Images in The Hague

We can do a shoot on anywhere reasonable location. Indoors or outdoors. And of course in my photo studio. My studio is located in The Hague. Easily reachable by car (about 4 minutes from the A12 and A4) and parking right in front of the building. The Hague Central Station is a mere 6 minute walk. This studio photo is a great example of what we can create together. It gives an impression of what is possible with light and shadow. Here you can find some of my studio photos. This is already nicely reflected in this color photo, but the power of light and shadow can be expressed even beter in a black and white photo.
