"Poetry with light" is the subtitle or tagline associated with Forever Images. In my eyes this perfectly reflects what I have in mind with my portrait photography. Artistic portrait photography by creating uniquely beautiful and elegant photos. The fact that it’s clearly recognizable as my work, makes that I consider it to be art. Something completely different than a merely visual registration of something observable.

When I shoot children, like this portrait photo, I make sure they have a good time during the shoot. I take plenty of time but I am also very sharp when it comes to capturing that one moment. Photographing children is more about letting go and will always be more spontaneous and surprising. It literally reflects the way children themselves are.
