"Poetry with light" is the subtitle or tagline associated with Forever Images. In my opinion it beautifully describes how I look at my work as a portrait photographer. Fascinating portrait photography that results in artistically delightful and gorgeous photos. The uniqueness of my work makes it’s clearly recognizable. For me this is the most essential aspect that makes that I see my work as pieces of art. An artistic interpretation of a visual experience.

When it comes to shooting kids, like this portrait photo, it's all the more important to have a good time during the shoot. On the one hand, more patience is needed, but at the same time it must also be possible to switch very quickly. Photographing children is less easy to plan or lead and will always be more spontaneous and surprising. Just like children themselves. I like to shoot on location (indoors or outdoors) and in my photo studio. It's located in The Hague. Easily reached by car (about 4 minutes from the A12 and A4) and parking right in front of the building. The Hague Central Station is about a 6 minute walk. This studio photo is a great example of what we can create together. It gives an impression of what is possible with light and shadow. Here you can find some of my studio photos. This is already nicely reflected in this color photo, but the power of light and shadow can be expressed even beter in a black and white photo.
